Free speech is for everyone ft. Todd Starnes | #TruthStraightUp

Does it “grind your gears” when conservative students are silenced on their college campuses? It should—and here’s why!

Everyone deserves to have their voice heard in the public square. Everyone deserves a chance to share their opinion and defend their viewpoints.

But here’s the problem: the Left is terrified of these ideas! They would rather silence opposing ideas than debate them.

Sometimes, there are things that really grind my gears. That’s a saying we have back home in Memphis, Tennessee, where I’m from.

One of the things that really gets me going is when a conservative student’s voice is silenced in the public marketplace.

And the reason why that’s important is because conservatives need to have that voice. They need to be able to share their opinions. They need to be able to share their viewpoints.

Here’s the problem: the Left is terrified of these ideas, the concept of free speech and personal responsibility. And that’s a big problem in America.

Ultimately, conservatives are going to have to take a stand. I know it sometimes goes against our nature to be vocal and to be out there, but we have to do that.

We have a responsibility. To be a good citizen of America means to take a stand.

And if conservatives don’t take a stand for the Constitution, quite frankly, I don’t know who will.
