Listener Question: I’ve noticed that my empathy has been growing as I’ve have been becoming aware of how sad and destructive situations can be for people, or, as I understand what is abusive for people and how these abuses effect a person, I empathize with others and have compassion for them. Given that learning empathy is about as hard as learning Japanese, any help would be greatly appreciated. Am I doing it right? and what other tools can you suggest to help develop empathy?
