It’s time to cancel “cancel culture” ft. Andrew Klavan | #TruthStraightUp

It’s time to cancel “cancel culture,” the ugly practice of destroying people every time they say something leftists don’t like.

Someone gets his dream job, and, suddenly, the hate gremlins crawl out from under their rocks and search through social media looking for something he said, however long ago, that makes him look bad or that makes him look bigoted.

They destroy his reputation. No apology is ever enough, and, a lot of times, he ends up losing his job or losing his dream.

No one is perfect. Everyone used to be young. Everyone has said and done stupid things that he regrets.

America is based on the fact that men are not angels and shouldn’t have too much power. With that in mind, it’s time to cancel “cancel culture.”

It’s time to cancel “cancel culture.”

You know what I’m talking about. This is where some guy finally achieves his dream. Kevin Hart, the comedian, gets the job of hosting the Oscars, the job he always dreamed about. Kyler Murray, a fine, young man, wins the Heisman Trophy for college football.

Suddenly, all these little hate gremlins come crawling out from under their rocks and go searching through social media looking for something the guy said, however long ago, that makes him look bad or that makes him look bigoted and somehow destroys his reputation.

The guy is then supposed to apologize, but no apology is every enough. A lot of times, he ends up losing his job or losing his dream.

This is a terrible way for us to treat one another. None of us is perfect. All of us used to be young. All of us have said and done stupid things that we regret.

Our entire country is based on the fact that men are not angels and shouldn’t have too much power. We need to keep that in mind and cancel “cancel culture.”
