Peterson vs Zizek: Livestream Tickets

Livestream tickets: petersonvszizek.com

As some of you may know, and the rest of you are learning now, I am debating Marxist philosopher Slavoj Zizek in Toronto, April 19 at the Sony Centre. The topic? Happiness: Marxism vs Capitalism. The live tickets have already sold out. We have therefore decided to experiment with live-streaming the discussion. You can subscribe to the livestream at PetersonvsZizek.com. That’s PetersonvsZizek.com. It comes at a cost – 14.95. This enables us to produce it professionally and to ensure, we hope, that the broadcast is of high quality and reliable, as well as to produce whatever profit might ensue. Dr Zizek, by the way, has announced his intention to donate his share to charity.

Note: I am still going to post the video recording on YouTube and audio on podcast, in mid-May, in the same manner as usual.

Jordan B Peterson

Dr. Jordan B Peterson is a professor and clinical psychologist. The videos are derived from two sources: 1. His UToronto courses Maps of Meaning (which describes how values, including beliefs about good and evil, regulate emotion and motivation); and Personality & Its Transformations (which describes psychological theories from Eliade, Jung, Freud, Rogers, Gray, Luria, Sokolov, Vinogradova, Panksepp, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, and Solzhenitsyn as well as psychometric models such as the Big Five). 2. His public lectures on topics of general psychological relevance, including the meaning of music, the significance of hero mythology, and the structure of the world as represented in religion.
